The University of Georgia recognizes the importance of providing threat assessments, information, training, and resources to promote the safety of all students, faculty, staff, visitors, and security of campus facilities. In order for UGA to provide appropriate and timely safety and security information and response to its distributed campus, each organizational unit must designate a primary safety and security representative for each occupied University building. The Building Safety and Security Representative (BSSR) initiative was put in place to address the process of how this was to be accomplished.
"One-Stop Shop" for BSSRs...BSSRs can now register as a Primary or Backup BSSR, view their buildings as well as update (or delete) their personal and building information..all from one login link using their UGA MYId.(see #2 below)
- *Note: BSSRs who no longer represent a particular building will need to login (#2 link below) and delete their BSSR information for that building. Also, anyone replacing a BSSR will need to register themselves (#2 link below) for a particular building.
