Brochures, prepared by the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness, provide information on security and emergency preparedness issues. The department’s popular Readiness Saves Lives brochure is available for downloading from this site and provides information regarding:
· Steps you can take to prepare for an emergency
· The possible signs of terrorism
· Emergency notification systems
· Assembling an emergency kit
· Requesting a training class or departmental risk assessment
More detailed information on these, and other, security and emergency preparedness topics is also available from our Web site through our bimonthly bulletin Readiness Rules. Web based e-mail sign up is available for receiving current bulletin issues.
