Family Preparedness Plan

The Office of Security & Emergency Preparedness created a Family Preparedness Plan for use by individuals and families. This plan is available for downloading by clicking here. The plan includes: wallet cards, checklists for creating a grab and go emergency kit, financial emergency planning, emergency planning for pets, and several other preparedness tools. The Family Preparedness Plan is designed with blank spaces that the individual can use to fill in the appropriate information to create their emergency plan.

If this plan does not fit your needs, there are other Family Preparedness Plans available.The American Red Cross has several resources to help individuals and families prepare for disasters. Other useful web sites for preparedness planning are ready.gov/ and ready.ga.gov/.
