On September 11, 2009, the Office of Security & Emergency Preparedness, the Center for International Trade and Security and UGA Enterprise Information Technology Services hosted a forum on cyber security. The focus was on computing intrusions as a growing threat to national security. Attacks on computer systems can be highly organized, complex and motivated by political or economic aims. Experts discussed this growing threat, how it is changing and what this means for the UGA community.  The event was held from 10:00 to noon at the UGA Chapel. John Newton, with the Office of
Security and Emergency Preparedness, organized this event.
